production process
the outer shell of the sign was created by vac-forming clear polystyrene sheet over a custom mould. the internal letters are cnc cut acrylic backed with pink acetate, outlined in led tape. the letter are suspended on a sheet of corrugated plastic, sandwiched between the front and back shell and secured with cable-ties. the key techniques were:

the sign was my own design, based on a brief by caged bird, heavily inspired by the clear electronics trend of the 90's.
